State police: Man arrested for allegedly shooting driver on Garden State Parkway

A Berkeley Township man is facing several charges after he allegedly shot a driver on the Garden State Parkway following an altercation.
New Jersey State Police say that William Sabo and the victim got into an altercation at a gas station in Manchester on Jan. 12. After the incident, Sabo and the victim left the gas station, traveling in the same direction. They both ended up on the Parkway, where Sabo allegedly drove up to the victim and fired at the victim’s vehicle.
The victim was struck in the knee and was treated at the hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Sabo was arrested at his home on Jan. 14. He faces attempted homicide, weapons and drug charges.
