Career counselors and more than 30 companies were at the Hutchinson Metro Center today as part of a career fair for military veterans.
The event, hosted by state Sen. Jeff Klein (D-Morris Park), was intended to help military personnel re-acclimate themselves to the work force. Career counselors hosted workshops to help veterans with writing resumes and handling job interviews.
Klein says he sponsored the fair to help soldiers get hired so they can use their skills in the private sector.
