- A HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK is in effect through this evening for Brooklyn and Queens beaches. Minor coastal flooding is expected in the more vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shorelines. Life-threatening rip currents are likely.
- It's cool and cloudy with a few sprinkles. Temperatures are in the low to mid 60s.
- Today will be cooler, breezy and mainly cloudy with temperatures in the low 70s.
- A few showers move late tonight into tomorrow morning.
- We've had 9 consistent weekends with measurable rainfall since late April. Unfortunately, rain returns this weekend as temperatures climb to the 80s with increasing humidity.
- Saturday morning a few showers will move through the area. Another round of spotty showers and thunderstorms arrives after 3PM-10PM. There's an isolated risk for severe storms.
