It was a very gray start to the spring season. Showers push through that could have moderate to heavy rain at times. Main timing is after 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for the heaviest parts that move through. Visibility will be reduced overnight and into the morning due to fog as well as rain. Amounts of rain will be under an inch but could result in some puddles and ponding on the roads.
Winds pick up Thursday night and overnight into the 10- to 15-mph range. Gusts really kick up for Friday. As of Thursday night, it looks to be beneath the requirements for the National Weather Service to issue any wind-related alerts, but it's still going to make for a very gusty end to the work and school week. Gusts will be in the 30- to 40-mph range.
Temperatures jump around over the next week. Friday is much cooler, seeing temperatures in the upper-40s. Saturday sees a big jump in temperatures into the upper-50s. The weekend finishes in the low-50s. The first days of next week will see temperatures in the mid- to upper-50s then a decrease into the 40s again for Wednesday. Rain wise, there could be a rogue shower on Saturday with some light rain. The next best chance comes Sunday into early Monday that the News 12 Storm Watch Team will keep an eye on due to potential early morning commute impacts.
