Bitter Blast: Snow shower possible for Thursday afternoon

Thursday’s storm looks to stay too far south and east to have much of an impact on our area.

Connecticut may see a few widely scattered snow showers pop up on Thursday afternoon and evening.
With the cold air in place, even a little bit of snow might stick and accumulate.
Accumulations will be very minor throughout western Connecticut and stay well under 1 inch. Wind chills Thursday morning will be in the lower single digits.
Dry and wind weather returns for Friday and temperatures will once again struggle to reach normal levels. Highs will likely stay in the middle 30s.
The weekend looks dry for a change and sunny to start.
No major storms are on the horizon, but a few showers are likely early next week.
Temperatures stay on the milder side of normal for late February.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny, breezy. High of 36.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny. High of 40.
SUNDAY: Partly sunny. High of 43.
MONDAY: Partly sunny. High of 44.
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy, sprinkles. High of 46.
WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy. High of 47.
