Air Quality Alert:
The National Weather Service has issued an air quality alert for 12 a.m. tonight to 12 a.m. Thursday due to Canadian wildfire smoke and warm surface temperatures, elevating pollutants to be greater than the air quality index value of 100 during the time frame listed.
Forecast:
Temperatures will stay mild under hazy, but mainly cloudless skies overnight
Thursday will start off mild and get hot quickly. Expect some areas to teeter near 90 degrees by Thursday afternoon.
Air quality will deteriorate throughout the day. It will remain sunny, and a little humid with most of the daytime high temperatures being in the mid-80s.
Friday will be cooler, with more clouds especially in the evening.
Rain chances will likely hold off until early Saturday and then off-and-on rain showers throughout the day.
Keep the umbrella around for Father's Day, but rain chances are trending lower as we approach the weekend.
