Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Mike Rizzo says strong to severe storms are expected for New York City overnight ahead of cold temperatures on Friday. 
The best chance New York City will see the line of storms will be between 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.
FRIDAY: Mix of sun and clouds, blustery and colder. An isolated shower possible in the afternoon. Wind gusts of 30 mph likely. Highs up to 60, feeling more like the 40s. Lows drop to 38.
SATURDAY: Mostly sunny and tranquil! Highs around 57, lows around 42.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy. A shower or two possible late. Highs up to 56. Lows around 42.
MONDAY: Partly cloudy and mild. Highs near 61. Lows down to 46.
TUESDAY: Partly cloudy and mild. Highs up to 62. Lows down to 48.
WEDNESDAY: A few showers possible. Highs around 60. Lows around 45.
