Enjoy the warmth now while it is here this evening as the 60s and 70s will be quickly replaced with 40s and 50s this weekend. It gets chilly after midnight as temperatures tumble to a low of 47 degrees by 7 a.m. That is also when the first rain showers arrive.
It will not be an all-day washout Saturday, but there will be on-and-off showers with umbrellas needed on standby all day long. It will be a chilly, raw, with a dreary feel. There is an isolated downpour chance through the day but expect most of the showers to be light or steady. There will be a burst of heavy rain around midnight as slightly warmer weather moves in for Sunday.
There will be two dry moments on Sunday, between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m., and between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Otherwise, umbrellas will be needed the rest of the weekend. Sunday morning's rain will prevent any more warmth from reaching the borough, so expect temperatures to top out on either side of 60 degrees instead of 60s or 70s. Another storm moves in on the heels of Sunday morning's rain with moderate to heavy rain likely by midnight, lasting through the start of the Monday morning commute.
Once the rain departs Monday morning, a cold Canadian wind takes over with very windy conditions possible Tuesday. The colder weather early next week will be significantly colder by Wednesday, as temperatures could fall below freezing at night and feeling even colder with the wind. High temperatures will struggle to reach the upper-40s, feeling like closer to just 40 degrees.
