  • A swift-moving storm system is set to impact the region this weekend
  • Saturday will feature flurries throughout the day before steadier snow showers move in from the west, blanketing the Tri-state area overnight.
  • Accumulations are expected primarily on surfaces south of I-84. The snow will begin to taper off Sunday morning as the system pulls away, followed by gusty winds for the afternoon.
  • Anticipated snow totals range from a coating to an inch north of I-84, and 1 to 2 inches southward towards the city. Looking ahead, Monday will be a cold day with a persistent steady wind.

SATURDAY: STORM WATCH (p.m.) - Mostly cloudy skies with a chance for flurries during the day. Widespread snow showers move in late in the evening. Highs: mid-30s. Lows: mid-20s.
SUNDAY: STORM WATCH (a.m.) - FIRST NIGHT OF HANUKKAH - Snow is possible from the late Saturday night hours into Sunday morning. Drier conditions and breezy winds could follow for the afternoon. Highs: upper 20s to low 30s. Lows: mid-20s.
MONDAY: Mix of sun and clouds with cold, gusty winds. Highs: upper 20s. Lows: upper 10s.
TUESDAY: Mix of sun and clouds. Highs: upper 20s to low 30s. Lows: mid-20s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny to mostly cloudy. Highs: upper 30s. Lows: low 30s.
