The stormy weather didn’t slow down residents in Parkchester Sunday.

Residents were out and about doing errands, and some were preparing for Halloween.

The heavy rain was expected to continue overnight, with widespread downpours at times, before tapering off in the early hours of Monday morning.

The fierce winds were also continuing overnight and into Monday. Winds of 25-45 mph were expected, with some stronger gusts.
