Some local high school students are coming together for equality in their community, and hoping their actions can spur change.
The second annual Future of the City March took place in the streets of Harlem, calling for justice and an end to police brutality.
The march was organized by students from South Bronx Community Charter High School with help from Black Lives Matter, Greater New York.
Attendees hoped to show others how to fight against racism, while setting the younger generation up for a brighter future.
Marchers came from all across New York City, hoping this peaceful demonstration could make a meaningful difference and remember lives lost in the community.
