Another case in the growing trend of subway surfing that has claimed the lives of several young people across the city.
Back in July, Mayor Eric Adams announced the launch of a new "drone operations committee" that works to utilize drone technology to keep New Yorkers safe at city beaches, protect against subway surfing and track suspects fleeing crime scenes.
The NYPD says its message is simple: "Ride inside, stay alive."
It encourages parents to talk to their kids about the dangers of subway surfing and tell the public to report it when they see it.
