New York City could also see thunderstorms later in the workweek. 
WEDNESDAY: Hot and humid, a chance of afternoon showers and storms. Highs from the mid-80s to the low mid-90s. Heat index possibly reaching 100+. For the night, lows from the low- to upper-70s.
THURSDAY: Hot and humid and a chance of afternoon showers and storms. Highs from the mid-80s to the mid-90s. Heat index possibly reaching 100+.
FRIDAY: Hot and humid, a chance of showers and storms. Highs from the upper-80s to the mid-90s. Heat index possibly reaching 100+.
SATURDAY: Not as hot and a little less humid. Possible showers and storms, highs from the mid-80s to upper-80s.
