Not as hot for Friday, showers possible for start of Saturday

Cooler weather is on the way after one of the hottest days of the year so far.

Friday will be partly sunny, with highs near 78 degrees. There's a slight chance for a stray shower during the afternoon but most of the day will be dry.
Scattered showers arrive Friday night, with the chance for showers Saturday morning into the early afternoon. The second half of the day looks dry, with mostly cloudy skies. An easterly wind will keep high temperatures down in the low 70s.
Expect lots of clouds Saturday night into Sunday morning but Sunday is trending drier for Father's Day.
