Gusty and cool weekend for NYC, possible rain Sunday evening - tracking indirect impacts from Lee

TRACKING LEE

We continue to monitor Lee's track for potential impacts. The storm still looks well offshore with no major direct impact. Coastal impacts are possible - including rip currents and possible beach erosion. Watch the video below for more:
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says Hurricane Lee's outermost clouds are blanketing the city into this afternoon. There is no rain expected as Lee passes 300+ miles offshore.
A high surf advisory and a rip current statement is in effect through 8 p.m. Saturday.
TONIGHT: High clouds overhead but still cool. Lows down to 60.
TOMORROW: Mostly to partly cloudy and blustery. 20-30 mph gusts expected, peaking near midday. Highs near 76. Lows down to 58 under a clear sky.
SUNDAY: A changing forecast with rain possible after 6 p.m. Sunny start but cloudy finish. Highs jump to 78. Lows near 65 with showers at night.
MONDAY: A morning shower, then partly cloudy. Highs near 77. Lows near 64.
TUESDAY - THURSDAY: Back to the sunshine and relatively dry conditions. Highs in the mid- to upper-70s, lows in the mid-60s.
