News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Darryl Green says New York City will see temperatures approach the low- to mid-90s on Wednesday and stick around through Saturday.

Tuesday: Partly sunny, warm, humid and a slight chance of showers and storms, highs in the mid-80s.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny, highs around 90, heat index values from the low to mid-90s.

Thursday: Partly sunny, highs from the low to mid-90s and slight chance of showers and storms.

Friday: Hot and humid with highs reaching the low to mid-90, potential for triple-digit heat index values. There's a slight chance of showers and storms.

Saturday: Partly sunny with highs in the low-90s, a slight chance of showers and storms.

SUNDAY: Morning storms linger. Then sunny. Highs near 91. Lows near 68.
