Take a trip around the globe at the Caramoor Center for Music and Arts in Katonah

Feel like you are on a trip around the globe during a Road Trip: Close to Home visit to the Caramoor Center for Music and Arts in Katonah.
“There are so many things that you can do when you visit the grounds of Caramoor. It is a place to gather and to explore and to discover but also to escape,” says Caramoor vice president and chief marketing officer Tahra Delfin.
Make a reservation and explore the colorful lives of the founders here at the Rosen house.
Explore the 1930s country home of Lucie and Walter Rosen, now a destination where art meets music, nature and history. “The house is filled with collections and rooms that have been curated and designed by our founders, they traveled the world and they brought it back here and then they built a home for music,” says Delfin.
From hand-painted Chinese wallpaper to European architecture, you’ll feel like you’re on a trip around the globe.
And, if you go on a weekend you can enjoy the ambiance of live music in the park. “Caramoor is like coming to Europe and being at a music festival in Europe all in your backyard,” explains Delfin.
Guests can stroll through more than 80 acres of grounds and gardens, like the Sunken garden, home to many natural pollinators!
Don’t miss the sound art installations dispersed throughout the grounds. Many of the installations are interactive, that respond to the push of a button.
