A Tarrytown Catholic school is closing its doors for good at the end of the school year. The Transfiguration School will permanently close in June.
Aletter sent out to parents from the superintendent of the Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of New York stated the closure is the result of severely low enrollment at the school.
The superintendent says that low enrollment makes it impossible to continue educating at the school.
