Police are searching for the gunman who shot and killed a teen in Mount Eden Tuesday night.

Authorities say the gunman allegedly walked up to the victim around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday outside of GC Grocery on Sheridan Avenue and Marcy Place and shot him in the chest before running off. The victim then walked a few blocks to Eliot and Walton avenues where he collapsed.

The teen, who has not yet been identified, died at Bronx Lebanon Hospital.

Police say the suspect is still on the loose as the investigation continues.
