A mother and daughter living in Wakefield say they've been dealing with crumbling and leaky ceilings for months and want their landlord to finally fix the problem.
The tenant, who wishes to remain anonymous, says her apartment at 4210 Digney Ave. has been leaking since November and her landlord has done nothing to rectify the situation.
The mother and daughter say they've been living in the apartment for two years.
She says her calls have gone unanswered and promises of repairs have been disregarded. The tenant says she lives with buckets in her bedroom and bathroom to catch the water and debris falling from her water-damaged ceiling.
The tenant tells News 12 The Bronx she plans to take her landlord to housing court in the new year to force those repairs to be made.
News 12 The Bronx reached out to the building's landlord for comment.
