Someone has allegedly been throwing adult diapers from their apartment window at the Parkchester North Condominium, according to tenants and building management.

A memorandum was slipped under tenants' doors at 2140 East Tremont Ave. on April 16.

"It has come to our attention that adult diapers are being thrown out of windows and landing on the ground and trees below," the letter stated from the director of operations for the Parkchester North Condominium.

The diapers were cleaned up when News 12 crews visited the area on Friday. Tenants who live in the building said the diapers being thrown from the window is a recent issue.

"You hear a thump on your A/C, you're terrified, like 'What the heck is hitting my window outside?' Then you see a big, dirty adult diaper and you're just like 'That's nasty,'" said Brandon Pettus, who lives below the alleged diaper thrower.

The director of operations says they will be looking at surveillance tapes and investigation to see who is behind the problem.

"Appropriate action will be taken against the resident or residents who commit this violation, including fines and possible arrest," the memorandum states.
