Tenants living at the Betances Houses had no hot water Wednesday during the storm.
Renee Chaplin arrived home Tuesday to find a notice on her door from NYCHA stating the building had no hot water. She says it's nothing new and that she is used to having no hot water and sometimes no heat. Chaplin says she had to boil water just to clean dishes.
Nearly 80 tenants also had no hot water. Chaplin says officials always say someone is fixing the problem, but she feels nothing gets done.
A NYCHA spokesperson tells News 12 crews are working to restore the hot water.
