Summer-like warmth blanketed the borough Thursday, with temperatures above 80 for the second day in a row.

T-shirts, sunglasses, shorts and smiles were visible nearly everywhere. 

And the high of 90 may have touched a record for this early in May.

People packed Van Cortlandt Park in the afternoon to enjoy the weather. 

Friday is expected to remain hot, with a high of 86. But skies will be cloudy and there is a chance of late-day storms.
