Riverdale luxury apartment building opens leasing for new residents

The Crossings, a multi-unit commercial building housing some of the borough’s staple stores, is located right in the middle of the busy commercial and transportation hub known as Hunts Point.

The building just finished leasing all of its vacant storefronts.

A new plasma center just opened, and a Japanese grill is in the works.

Brad Blumenfeld, vice president of Blumenfeld Development Group, runs the building. He says he is excited about the future of Hunts Point.

“The market in the area has changed, and it's really been doing great and bringing a lot of new businesses and new excitement to the area,” he says.

Blumenfeld says the subway and bus access contributes to the high-foot traffic, and he’s looking forward to the future of these businesses.
