As we approach one decade since Superstorm Sandy, Throgs Neck residents remember just how devastating it was for their waterfront community.
Construction is now underway to build a new seawall at the end of Vincent Street. This structure will replace the previous aging sea barrier that weathered storms over the years.
News 12’s Carmen Grant spoke with Throgs Neck residents about their storm experiences and the peace of mind they have about a new seawall.
