Residents who live near Swinton and Harding avenues in Throgs Neck tell News 12 their cars were broken into.
They say at least six Hondas had broken locks and stolen airbags. This comes after a similar incident in Pelham Bay where residents reported a series of stolen locks and airbags from around a dozen cars.
One resident said his sensor was taken as well.
News 12 obtained exclusive footage of the incident.
Ring camera video appears to show a car driving up and a person stealing items from multiple cars. The car is seen driving away about 10 minutes later.
"It's unfair. We're all hardworking people here. We work hard for what we have. We think we live in a good neighborhood and we're clearly being targeted," says Jackie, a Throgs Neck resident who says her car was broken into.
Throgs Neck residents tell News 12 they want whoever is responsible to be tracked down and locked up.
