Monday's downpour brought heavy rain and gusty winds making for a messy morning commute for Bronx drivers.

Bronx residents are now left with the aftermath of the storm including a downed tree near Teller Avenue that damaged two cars.

Some residents in the area say this could've been prevented.

Sidney Flores, a resident of the area, says, "I've called this past summer twice…about this tree and another one behind us on the sidewalk that I could see with my eyes. They're sick and they're going to fall."

No injuries were reported from the incident.
