Today’s snowstorm has cleared the region, but roads across the Hudson Valley remain slick, snowy and icy as crews continue cleaning up from Monday’s massive storm.
The storm dropped a couple of inches in some spots — just enough to snarl the morning commute and trigger delayed openings in several school districts.
On the Taconic parkway and other main routes, drivers were forced to slow down as plows tried to keep up.
A DPW worker in Briarcliff Manor told News 12 he’s feeling the strain: “Surviving another storm… completely done with this… we’re trying.”
Roads have improved this afternoon, but more snow is expected later over the next five days.
