Comedian Tracy Morgan was presented with the key to the borough of Brooklyn just a day before his 50th birthday.
The TV actor and Brooklyn native was in tears as Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams presented him with what he says is the highest honor he can give someone.
Morgan thanked his family, friends and colleagues for supporting his dreams and allowing his TBS show, "The Last O.G.," to become a reality.
The show is filmed across Brooklyn, allowing Morgan to be close to home and involved in his community.
The "30 Rock" and “Saturday Night Live” actor has spoken to students in Red Hook about the importance of education, and refurbished basketball courts at the Gowanus Houses.
