Bronx-based travel agents say they're seeing a drop in summer vacations following the recent spate of terror attacks around the world.
And they say they fear things will get worse.
Major European cities like Paris, France, and Brussels, Belgium, have seen large-scale terror attacks.
The State Department posted a travel alert for Europe through June 20, warning Americans that terrorist groups continue to plan attacks on the continent.
Tony Bernardini, of Allerton Travel, says the impact on business will likely remain unclear until later this year. He says people usually wait until the summer to book European trips.
"We do, however, recommend some of the areas which have never been hit by terrorists," Bernardini says.
Consumers can also get better deals due to the controversy, he says.
