The first of two memorials will take place tonight for a teenager who was stabbed to death in Mount Vernon.

Kayla Green was killed one week ago today shortly after a celebration for the boys' high school basketball team.

A candlelight vigil will be held tonight on Harper Avenue in the Bronx at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, a memorial for the 16-year-old will take place in Mount Vernon at the Elegant Loft on East Sanford Boulevard at 6 p.m.

Police say a 15-year-old girl stabbed Kayla and one of Kayla's friends last Friday. That teen is now charged with manslaughter
