U-Haul driver charged with assault after hitting teen
The driver of a U-Haul truck that hit a teen in Hunts Point last week has been arraigned. Efrain Rodriguez is facing a number of charges, including two counts of assault and driving under the influence.

The driver of a U-Haul truck that hit a teen in Hunts Point last week has been arraigned.
Efrain Rodriguez is facing a number of charges, including two counts of assault and driving under the influence.
According to police, Rodriguez was under the influence of methadone at the time of the accident. He was also driving with a suspended license.
The 17-year-old victim, identified as Amaru Millin, remains in serious condition in the hospital.
