Ukrainian soldier runs NYC Marathon with prostetic leg

Roman Kashpur lost his right lower leg as a result of an explosion from a Russian land mine. This weekend, with a prostetic leg and a Ukrainian flag in hand, he ran the New York City Marathon.

Roman Kashpur lost his right lower leg as a result of an explosion from a Russian land mine. This weekend, with a prostetic leg and a Ukrainian flag in hand, he ran the New York City Marathon.

Despite his injuries, he continued performing surveillance missions after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Kashpur also took pledges for a Ukrainian charity called Citizen Charity Foundation to raise money for other wounded soldiers.
