Undocumented immigrants in the city unveiled a message to the incoming administration on Sunday.
They are calling on President-elect Joe Biden to fight for the protection of the millions of immigrants in the U.S.
The immigrants made their message loud and clear by unveiling a banner on the Manhattan Bridge.
It read in Spanish "Proteccion permanente ya," which means permanent protection now.
The event was organized by a group called Movimiento Cosecha, a group that says it calls for dignity and respect for all immigrants.
In a statement, the group says it is looking to send a message to the incoming Biden/Harris administration that they plan to keep fighting for permanent protection for 11 million undocumented immigrants in the country.
The group says banner drops like this happened around the country including New Jersey, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, Georgia and Indiana.
