United Airlines to require negative COVID-19 tests from UK travelers coming to Newark, 3 other US airports
Starting Monday, United Airlines will require passengers coming from the United Kingdom who are traveling into Newark Liberty Airport to present proof of a negative coronavirus test.

8h agoStarting Monday, United Airlines will require passengers coming from the United Kingdom who are traveling into Newark Liberty Airport to present proof of a negative coronavirus test.
The airline says that customers traveling from London Heathrow to Chicago, Newark, Washington Dulles and San Francisco will have to provide proof of the test taken no later than 72 hours prior to departure.
United Airlines issued a statement, saying "The health and safety of our employees and customers is our highest priority."
New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy says it's "critical" that any and all precautions to mitigate the potential for further transmission are taken.
"While New Jersey continues to strongly discourage all non-essential travel at this time, if unavoidable, international travelers should adhere to CDC guidance for pre- and post-flight testing and the recommended self-quarantine period," Murphy says.
Same-day, pre-flight rapid tests are also available for ticketed passengers at the Collinson testing center located in Terminal Two at London Heathrow.
