Brooklyn community members are at odds over an unofficial fish pond spotted in Bed-Stuy.
More than 20 goldfish can be found at the intersection of Tompkins Avenue and Hancock Street swimming around in a puddle made from a leaking hydrant.
The fish were purchased and brought to the location by a group of men who live in the area. Two residents who heard about the "pond" participated in a fish heist the other night to rescue the fish.
Those fish are now being fostered, and new fish are now swimming in the puddle.
