Record warmth, muggy Sunday in New York City; some rain possible

Storm Watch meteorologist Allan Nosoff says there will be record warmth on Sunday with highs in the mid- to-upper 70s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny with a few afternoon clouds. Highs up to 76. Record is 74. A rogue showers possible between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. Lows near 66.
MONDAY: Morning clouds give way to a sunny afternoon. Highs up to 78. Record is 78. Lows crash to 53 with a cold front passing by (no rain expected).
TUESDAY: Dramatic drop. Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs only near 55. Wind gusts of 20+ mph possible. Lows near 42.
WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY: Mild but dry. Highs on either side of 60. Lows in the upper 40s.
FRIDAY - SATURDAY: a LOT of uncertainty with a cold front and potential tropical energy moving toward NYC. As of now, a chance for rain from Friday PM through Saturday.
