Four U.S. families called on President Joe Biden to help them find their missing loved ones in Israel.
Dual U.S. Israeli citizen Itay Chen was serving in the Israel Defense Forces Armed Corps. on the Gaza border during Saturday’s attack and is now said to be missing in action.
His father, who was born in New York City and has family on Long Island, is among those calling on the U.S. government for help.
"We are asking on behalf of my family for President Biden and secretary of state to do what they can to make this end for us as soon as possible,” he said.
President Biden is expected to speak later Tuesday about the conflict overseas.
