An estimated coating to 2" of snow fell across the city this morning. The snow will quickly melt this afternoon as temperatures rise to the low-40s with breezy conditions. Keep the umbrella nearby this evening for a few stray rain showers as the storm system pulls away. Roads will remain wet this evening and refreeze overnight. Watch for black ice tomorrow morning.
Our next storm system is trending South, likely bringing clouds and a few flurries Thursday night into early Friday. Stay tuned for any updates. Friday is turning out to be a nice day with well-deserved sunshine and highs in the low-40s. The snow will continue to melt through the weekend as temperatures climb to the 40s.
NEW THIS AFTERNOON:
A cold front will bring a chance of snow Sunday morning. As of now, this looks like a low impact event with a few light snow showers.
Our next potential storm threat is Monday into Tuesday. This storm could be more impactful, last longer and bring a chance of snow and ice. It's still way too soon to lock in the timing, totals and exact impacts, but it's definitely something worth watching. Stay tuned for updates.
