A Fordham family is asking the public for help identifying a man caught on video stealing religious statues from their front lawn twice.
The owner, who did not want to be identified, says his security camera recorded the thief taking the Catholic statues from in front of his Davidson Avenue home on Aug. 6 and Aug. 28.
The video shows the suspect stealing two statues on Aug. 6 and then returning to steal another on Aug. 28.

He says there is a fourth statue but he moved it inside after the burglaries. The statues cost around $1,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS
