NYPD received surveillance video of a suspect that has been linked to seven separate robbery incidents throughout the Bronx, dating all the way back to May 3 and as recently as Sept. 22.
The video shows the robbery that took place on Sept. 22, in which the suspect dug through the back pockets of the 90-year-old man before reaching into his front pockets and taking his phone, along with a wallet containing $150 cash.
Police say the suspect robbed seven other men seven different times. Previous incidents involving this suspect allegedly include him robbing another elderly man at knifepoint as he exited a Bx19 bus and striking another elderly man in the back of the head before stealing his wallet. The victims ranged from 66 years old to 90 years old.
The suspect police are now searching for got away with over $3,200 and multiple cellphones. Police say the suspect is in his 20s and was last seen wearing a Yankees hat, white polo shirt and dark-colored New Balance sneakers.
