Mourners spent Halloween at a vigil in Morris Park for three people killed in an accident there on the holiday last year.
A black Dodge Charger plowed into Kristjan Leka, 24, Louis Perez, 65, and Nyanna Aquil, Perez's 10-year-old granddaughter, as they were trick-or-treating.
Leka's younger sister says the last thing he did before being struck was push her out of harm's way.
Police later charged Howard Unger with the crash. According to investigators, he has epilepsy and was off his medication at the time.
Natalia Perez, whose father and daughter were both killed in the crash, told supporters at the vigil that they should live in the present and enjoy their family members while they can.
