A group of volunteers spent Saturday beautifying Soundview Park as part of an International Coastal Cleanup project.
Organizers say the cleanup effort is a way for people in the community to help preserve the oceans and shorelines.
A volunteer told News 12 he is lending a helping hand to help keep the fishes, turtles and other amphibians thriving.
Organizers say residents are proud of the borough's natural habitats.
