Local community members are getting their hands dirty and giving a 102-year-old Bronx church a much-needed makeover.
The Beth Memorial Presbyterian Church on East 180th Street has been falling apart for the past 20 years, but volunteers are finally doing something to change that. Every Saturday they put in their own time to restore the massive building.
Repairs are estimated to cost upwards of $200,000, and are expected to be completed in Sept. 2013.
