Voters across New York City are heading back to the polls on the last day of early voting.
More than 46,000 Bronx residents have already voted during the eight days of early voting, taking advantage of shorter lines before Election Day.
Brooklyn leads all boroughs, with more than 189,000 early votes cast so far.
Many voters said the mayoral race is what brought them out early this year, noting that this election will help shape the city’s direction for years to come.
Polling sites across the city remained open until 5 p.m.
