yesterdayPolice are asking for help identifying the suspect wanted in connection to an attempted rape in the South Bronx.
Authorities say a 38-year-old woman was walking on East 148th Street Thursday morning when she was approached by the suspect who attempted to sexually assault her.
The victim was able to break free resulting in the suspect running away.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
