NYC to reopen indoor dining Sept. 30 with social distancing, temperature checks and PPE
As Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Wednesday, indoor dining is returning to New York City on Sept. 30.

Mayor Bill de Blasio says there will be several required safety measures.

This includes 25% capacity, bar tops closed for seating, tables at least six feet apart, temperature checks at every front door, Test & Trace data collected from at least one customer at each table and PPE for employees.

The mayor says if COVID-19 positive rates reach 2%, New York City will immediately reassess indoor dining regulations.
