Mayor: NYC on track to begin phase 3 reopening on July 6
Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Thursday that New York City is expected to enter phase three of reopening on July 6.

He says the phase three reopening will include recreational sports like basketball, tennis, soccer, volleyball, handball, bocce and dog runs.

More testing will also be brought to some of the hardest hit areas of New York City.

NYC with partnership with CORE for mobile testing team launching next week initially focus on serving senior, in coordination with NCYHA and DFTA.

At SOMOS Community Care, 20 testing site partnerships will open next week in the Bronx, Manhattan and Queens. An additional 30 partnerships sites over the news few weeks will also open.

Free antibody testing will also be offered at NYC Health + Hospitals. The antibody tests allow New Yorkers to find out if they had coronavirus. The testing is currently available at all NYC Health + Hospitals acute care hospitals.

It will also be available at 11 Gotham Health Centers available Monday, June 29.

The centers will be free and open to those who have not had COVID-19 symptoms or a positive COVID-19 diagnostic test within the past two weeks.
