News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Hope Osemwenkhae says to expect less rain throughout the evening into Saturday morning.
NEW: A rainy Friday will leave the weekend conditions much better than anticipated. There will be moderate to heavy moments of rain through this late morning and afternoon. It should break for the evening with some drier moments after 4 p.m. through midnight.
NEXT: Rain arrives by sunrise Saturday where the last showers fall until 9/10 a.m. It becomes quite gusty with a change of the wind direction, changing from the south to the northwest. This northwest wind will pull dry air and colder air into the city through Saturday afternoon and throughout the entirety of Sunday. Gusts near 30 mph. Highs will be in the upper 50s.
Tonight: Cloudy, cool, with spotty showers. Lows near 58.
Saturday: Showers ending. Limited sunshine, cool and windy. Highs near 64. Lows near 52.
Sunday: Partly sunny, brisk and blustery. Highs near 57. Lows near 45.
Monday: Brisk start. Mostly sunny, cool, and breezy. Highs near 58. Lows near 46.
Tuesday: Chilly start. Sunny, breezy and still cool. Not as harsh. Highs near 61. Lows near 49. 
Wednesday: Sunny and near seasonable with lighter winds. Highs near 65. Lows near 54.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, milder and comfortable. Highs near 68. Lows near 55.
