ALERT: A flood watch has been issued for New York City from 2 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says evening showers will linger into Saturday morning. There will be improved weather on Saturday evening but cooler and windier air rolls in.
FORECAST:
Tonight: Cloudy with scattered showers. Mist/drizzle/fog also expected. Lows near 63.
Saturday: -- WEATHER TO WATCH -- Scattered showers continue, with a burst of heavy rain now likely midday with a cold front. Temps drop through the 60s during the day. Rain ends just before sunset.
Sunday: Partly cloudy and blustery. Highs only near 59, but feels like 40s and lower 50s.
Monday: Sunny and chilly during the afternoon, but luckily not as breezy. Highs near 58. Lows down to 50.
Tuesday - Thursday: Cool, but nice & tranquil. An isolated shower possible early Tuesday, otherwise, partly-to-mostly sunny with highs in the low-to-mid 60s. Lows in the low 50s.
